Brian Hart, owner of Frame de Art in Englewood, will be giving away a framed Peyton Manning-signed football jersey to a different local non-profit organization every month in 2013. Hart expects most of the charities to use the jerseys for auctions and other fundraisers. A signed Payton Manning jersey is worth approximately $1,200.
In 22 years of custom work, Hart has framed his business on community outreach and nonprofit giving. For more than a decade, he has been the official framer for the weekly 7News “Everyday Hero” awards. He also donates his services annually to the Race for the Cure breastcancer fundraiser, among other nonprofit events.
“This is a big commitment, but I wanted to show that as a small business we can make a difference,” Hart said.
The store will announce a new locally based recipient on the 15th of each month.
Please nominate a deserving non-profit by emailing framedeart@aol.com or to post ideas on Frame de Art’s Facebook page.
